Mahalakshmi Stationery

We are Mahalakshmi Stationery, located at Kamla Nagar D-88. Our shop is usually filled with the smell of paper and fresh ink. We’ve got rows of notebooks, pens of all kinds, and stacks of chart paper that always seem to lean a bit to one side no matter how we stack them. During the school season, the place gets really hectic. Parents come in with long lists of books and specific types of pencils that their kids need for class. We also have a photocopy machine that’s seen better days, but it still works if you treat it right. Sometimes the paper jams and we have to spend ten minutes fixing it while a line forms at the counter. Kamla Nagar is a busy spot, so we see a lot of students from the university area too. They usually want cheap binding or a specific brand of highlighter. We don't have much room to move around behind the counter because of all the stock piled up in the corners. My father started this place, and I’ve been helping out since I was a teenager. We know exactly where every single eraser and stapler pin is hidden, even if it looks like a jumble to everyone else who visits. The lighting inside is a little dim, but it’s a comfortable place to be. We just keep the shelves stocked and wait for the next school bell to ring.
