About Krishan Stamps Maker – Stationery in New Delhi
My shop, Krishan Stamps Maker, is tucked away in Veer Savarkar Block 17 in Shakarpur. I’ve been making stamps for a long time, and my hands usually have a bit of ink on them by the end of the day. It’s a small, quiet place compared to the main road. I spend most of my hours at a small workbench, cutting rubber or setting up the machine to press out a new design. People come to me when they need an official stamp for their business or maybe just a simple one for their personal paperwork. I try to get the spelling exactly right every time because one small mistake means the whole thing is ruined. It’s detailed work, and my eyesight isn’t what it used to be, but I know my way around the tools. The smell of the rubber and the ink is something I don’t even notice anymore. Some customers are in a big rush and want their stamp in ten minutes, while others are happy to wait and chat while I work. I don't have a big fancy sign, but people find me through word of mouth. I like the feeling of finishing a stamp and seeing it make a perfect mark on a piece of paper. It’s a simple life here in Block 17. I keep my tools organized in my own way, even if it looks like a mess to anyone else who walks in. It works for me.
