Khurana Stationers

Khurana Stationers is located over at T - 116 in Sriniwaspuri. It is a small shop packed with notebooks, pens, and all sorts of office supplies. I took over from my uncle about ten years ago. The shelves go all the way to the ceiling and I still use a ladder to reach the top rows where we keep the old account books and chart papers. Most of the kids from the nearby school come in for their pens and geometry boxes. It gets really busy in the afternoons when school lets out. I try to keep everything organized but sometimes the piles of paper just take over the counter. We also do some photocopying and binding in the back corner. The machine is a bit old and makes a loud clunking noise but it still gets the job done. I usually have the radio playing softly in the background. My wife helps me out on Saturdays when the rush is too much for one person. We have lived in Sriniwaspuri for a long time so we know most of the families around here. People stop by just to chat sometimes even if they do not need a pencil. It is a quiet life for the most part. We do not have any big signs or bright lights. Just the same old wooden door and the smell of fresh paper and ink that has been here forever.
