We are located in Madipur Village, specifically at Wz 213. We take up the first and second floors of the building here. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but that’s where the work happens. Being in the village area means the streets are narrow and it can be a bit of a challenge for the delivery trucks to get in and out, but we managed to make it work over the years. We focus on footwear, so there are always stacks of shoe boxes and the smell of rubber or glue in the air. It’s a manufacturing and storage setup mostly. The floors are concrete and we have desks set up where we handle the paperwork and the orders. It isn't a retail showroom with bright lights; it’s more of a practical workspace where things actually get made and packed. We have a small crew of people who have been with us for a long time. Everyone knows their job and we just get on with it. The fans on the ceiling hum all day to keep the air moving, especially when it gets hot in the afternoon. Madipur is a busy hub for this kind of work, and we are just one part of that local economy. We keep our heads down and focus on the shoes and getting them ready for whoever ordered them. It is a lot of work but it keeps us busy through the week.
