Madhav Rastogi

I work out of Raisina Road, at number 172, which is near the New Lawyer Court and not far from India Gate. Being Madhav Rastogi in this part of Delhi means being surrounded by a lot of legal talk and people in white collars. My office is a fairly simple room with a lot of shelves for all the documents I have to keep. It gets very busy during the day when the courts are in session. You can hear the sirens and the cars constantly moving toward India Gate. The office has a heavy door that shuts out some of the noise, but not all of it. I have an old desk that was passed down to me, and it is covered in files and loose papers. I don't really have a big fancy sign outside, just my name near the entrance. Most of the people who come here are looking for help with their paperwork or need someone to look over a contract. It is a lot of reading and sometimes a lot of waiting for things to happen. I drink a lot of tea while I work, and the person who brings it has been coming here for years. The walls are a bit yellowed from time, and the air conditioner is quite loud, but it keeps the heat away. It is a straightforward place for straightforward work. I don't see the need for much more than that in this line of business.
