M S Technocall

M S Technocall sits over in Palam Extn, Sector-7 of Dwarka. We are up in B-202. It’s a busy spot in New Delhi, always something going on outside the window. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of people talking on phones or typing. We handle call work and technical stuff, so there are wires everywhere. It’s not the neatest office you’ve ever seen, but we know where everything is. The desks are pushed close together to make room for everyone. We don't have a cafeteria, so we usually eat lunch at our desks or go down to the local stalls for some parathas. It gets noisy when everyone is talking at once, but you get used to it after a week or two. We aren't some massive call center with thousands of people; it’s a smaller group of us trying to get through the daily list of calls. Sometimes the equipment breaks down and we have to spend half the day fixing the headsets or the internet connection. It can be frustrating but we just laugh it off and keep going. We don't have any fancy titles here. We just show up, do our shift, and head home through the Delhi traffic. It’s a regular job for regular people. We’ve been in this B-202 space for a while now and it suits us just fine.
