Parvesh Jai

You can find Parvesh Jai up on the second floor of Shop-1 at 2 M. G. Road. Being in New Delhi means it is always noisy outside. The traffic on MG Road never really stops. To get to us, you have to walk up those stairs, which can be a bit much if you’re carrying heavy things. We have been in this spot for several years now. It’s not a huge place, just enough room for us to work and keep our stock. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when we get a big order in. My brother and I usually handle everything ourselves. We didn't want a ground floor shop because the rent is too high and we don't really need people walking in off the street all the time. Most of our work is done through calls or people who already know where we are. The light in the shop isn't the best in the afternoons, but we have some good lamps. We keep a kettle in the corner for making tea when friends stop by. It’s a simple setup. We don't bother with fancy decorations or anything. Just some shelves and a couple of desks. New Delhi is a tough city but we manage to keep things going here on the second floor. It is just home to us now. It's nothing special to look at, but it works for what we do.
