Our office is Prop-No-G-44, Flat No-6 on the first floor in Shaheen Bagh, Abul Fazal Enclave-2. This is in the Jamia Nagar area of Delhi. It is a very lively and crowded neighborhood. Louis Cardin Fashion Private Limited is just a small operation running out of this flat. We have a few rooms filled with clothes and sewing supplies. Being on the first floor is convenient because we can see the street life below but we are tucked away enough to get our work done. The area is famous for its food and its busy markets, and we are right in the middle of all that energy. We don't have any big signs or fancy lighting. It is just a regular flat where we do our business. Most of our days are spent checking the quality of the garments and making sure our deliveries are ready on time. The building is older and the stairs are a bit narrow, but it has a lot of character. We often hear the calls to prayer from the nearby mosques and the sound of children playing in the alleyways. It’s a community-driven place and we feel very much a part of it. We are just a local team working hard in a very traditional part of New Delhi. There’s nothing corporate about us, just real people making clothes.
