You can find us at No. 14-G in Sector 8, right in the Jasola Vihar area. It's a decent spot for what we do. Working with leather is a bit of a messy business sometimes, and you can definitely smell it when you walk through the door. It’s that heavy, earthy scent that never really goes away. We’ve got benches and tools spread out all over the place. Most mornings start with clearing off the worktables from whatever we were doing the night before. There’s always a lot of scrap pieces lying around the floor. We try to sweep up, but it feels like more appears the moment we turn our backs. People who live nearby in Jasola Vihar probably see us coming and going at odd hours. The lighting in the shop isn't perfect, but we have some extra lamps for the detailed parts of the job. It gets warm in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the front, but we keep the fans going. It’s just a normal workshop where we focus on the material in front of us. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we have to check an address for a shipment. Mostly, our hands are busy with the hides. It’s hard work on the fingers, but it’s what we’ve been doing for years now. We know the leather, and we know how it’s going to behave once we start cutting into it. It’s just how we make our living.
