We spend most of our days here at Rz R-46 in Chanakya Place-II. It is a busy part of Uttam Nagar and you can always hear the traffic outside from the window. The office is not very big but we have enough room for the desks and the files we keep. Some of the chairs are a bit old now and they creak when you sit down. We usually start the morning by opening up the shutters and getting the fans going because it gets quite hot in Delhi. Lic Mutual Fund Asset Management Company has been at this spot for a while now. People walk in from the street often just to ask directions or check on things. There is a small tea stall nearby where we get our chai twice a day. The floor is made of that plain grey stone you see in many buildings around here. It takes some time to organize everything every morning but we manage. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that. Just some calendars on the wall and piles of paperwork that need looking at. It is a regular workplace where we just get through the tasks one by one. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that is just how it is in this area. We know the neighbors pretty well by now and they often say hello when we arrive.
