Leather Edge

Leather Edge is located at C-1 First Floor in Vinodpuri, which is part of Vijay Enclave. It’s a simple building and we’re just up the first flight of stairs. We’ve got a decent amount of space to work with, though it fills up fast when a new shipment arrives. Working with leather is a bit messy, so the floor usually has some bits and pieces on it. We don't worry about it too much until the end of the day. The light coming through the windows is good in the mornings. We spend most of our time at the cutting tables or checking the edges of the material. It’s quiet work for the most part, except for the sound of the machines now and then. We aren't interested in being the biggest company out there. We just want to stay busy and do our jobs at C-1. The neighborhood of Vijay Enclave is where we belong. We know the routes the delivery trucks take and when the traffic gets bad. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s a steady one. We don't have any fancy brochures or a PR person. We just have our tools and the leather. If you come by, you’ll likely find us in our work clothes, probably with a bit of glue or dye on our fingers. It’s just how the job goes. We take things one day at a time here at Leather Edge and keep our focus on the bench.
