R. K. D. Leather

Our business, R. K. D. Leather, is situated at R. Z- 10 in Laxmi Vihar. We are right on the Najavgar Nangloi Road, so there is always plenty of traffic passing by our door. You can hear the trucks and buses shifting gears all day long. It's a busy stretch of road and that keeps things feeling lively around here. Our shop is a simple place, not really designed for showing off. We use most of the space for storing the leather hides and working on our projects. The smell of leather is very strong inside, which is something we don't even notice anymore, but visitors always mention it. We have a couple of old workbenches where we do all the cutting and stitching. It's honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to do, and the streetlights outside are the only thing lighting up the road. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy to get people's attention. Most folks who come to us already know where we are or they have been told by someone else. The building itself has some cracks and the paint is peeling in some spots, but it serves us well for the work we do. We just focus on getting the leather items finished and ready for whoever needs them. It is a straightforward way to run a business in this part of town.
