Baba Western Fascination (surplus Brand)

We are located over at R 72 Ramesh Park in Laxmi Nagar, which is quite close to the Samudye Bhawan. Our shop is a bit different because we focus on surplus brands. This means you never quite know exactly what is going to be on the hangers from one week to the next. It’s a lot of sorting through boxes to find the good stuff that we can put out for people to see. Laxmi Nagar is a crowded area, and Ramesh Park has its own little buzz going on. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just the shop and the clothes. People come here because they know they can find something decent without paying those high mall prices. It’s a bit of a hunt sometimes, but that’s what makes it interesting for the regulars. We aren't trying to be a high-end boutique. The floor is usually a bit dusty and the lighting could probably be better, but we focus on the clothes themselves. We spend our afternoons chatting with people who live in the nearby blocks and making sure the racks aren't too messy. It’s a small business run by people who just like working in the clothing trade. We don't have a mission statement. We just open the shutters, put out the stock, and wait to see who comes in today. It’s a simple setup that works well for us and our customers.
