Lavanya Engineering Works

Our workshop is located at 39/5, tucked right behind the SBI in the J.C. Indl. Layout. Being on Bikasipura Road means we get a lot of dust from the passing trucks, so we are always cleaning the machines. Lavanya Engineering Works is basically just a group of us who enjoy fixing things and fabrication work. It is a practical space with a lot of heavy tools and scrap metal lying around. We spend most of our time in greasy overalls, so the place is not exactly a showroom. If you come by, you will likely hear the sound of welding or someone hammering on a metal plate. It can get quite hot in the afternoons under the metal roof, but we have a couple of big fans that keep the air moving enough to be tolerable. We have been at this location for years, and the bank being right there makes it easy for people to find us. The road outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, making it a bit of a mess to move the heavier finished parts out to the trucks. We do not have a receptionist or anything, so usually, one of us just wipes our hands on a rag and comes over to talk whenever someone walks in. It is just honest work, nothing fancy, just keeping the machines running and the orders moving through the shop floor every day.
