Working at Ahluwalia & Sons is a bit like being part of a small family. We are located at Type 4 No. 13 Jalvihar in Lajpat Nagar 1. It is a very active neighborhood in Delhi. Our space is modest and we like it that way because it keeps everything within reach. We handle all kinds of things here. The phone seems to ring at the most random times of the day. Most of our hours are spent dealing with people who have been coming to us for years. There is a lot of history in this name. We try to keep that going by just being reliable and showing up every day. The office can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock coming in. We always find a place for everything eventually. Lajpat Nagar is always loud and colorful so there is never a dull moment looking out the window. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just speak plainly and do what we say we are going to do. It might take us a minute to find a specific file in the cabinet but we always get there. It is a local business through and through. We are just happy to be here in Jalvihar doing our thing day after day. It is just simple work.
