Libas

Libas is right in the middle of Central Market in Lajpat Nagar-2. If you have ever been to D-42, you know how hectic it can get around here. There are people everywhere, street food smells, and a lot of shouting from the various vendors. Our shop is a bit small, but we try to make use of every inch of wall space for the clothes. We have mirrors everywhere to make the place look bigger than it actually is. The floor is marble, but it gets dirty pretty fast with all the foot traffic from the market outside. We are usually open from late morning until quite late in the evening because that is when the market is busiest. Sometimes the crowd gets so thick outside the door that it is hard for customers to get out once they have bought something. We have a small wooden stool behind the counter where I sit when there is a quiet moment, which is not very often. Lajpat Nagar is a place with a lot of energy, and we just try to keep up with it. We do not have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that thousands of people walk past our door every single day. It is a tiring job being in the heart of the market, but it is never boring. You see all sorts of people.
