Kunal Craft India

Kunal Craft India is based in Shahdara, specifically at C-165 on Chanakya Marg. This is in the Chhajupur area of Babarpur. It’s one of those parts of Delhi where the streets can be quite narrow and crowded. We do a lot of craft work here, mostly by hand. It’s a bit of a family-run feel, even if we have some staff helping out. The building is an old one, and we have used every bit of space for storage and worktables. There are always bits of wood or fabric or whatever we are working on lying around. It’s not a place for a suit and tie. Most of us just wear old shirts that we don't mind getting stained. We don't have a big showroom. If a customer wants to see what we make, they usually just walk into the workspace and look at what is currently on the tables. It gets a bit chaotic during the festival seasons when orders pile up. We end up working late into the night sometimes. The neighbors are nice though, and we all know each other. We just keep our heads down and keep making things. It’s a simple life and we like being in this part of the city, even if it’s a bit cramped at times. We focus on the pieces we are making and hope that people find them useful in their homes or businesses.
