Down in the back side basement of S-364 in Greater Kailash-II, that’s where you’ll find Kps International. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for a stone business, being in a basement, but it works for us. We don’t have the massive outdoor yards like some of the other guys, so we focus more on the samples and the paperwork side of things from here. It’s a bit quieter downstairs, away from the street noise of GK-II, which is nice when we are trying to figure out shipping schedules. We handle a lot of different stones, even though you can’t see the huge slabs right here in the office. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or looking at crates. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped with all the stone chips and catalogs lying around, but it’s our space. People usually call us first and then come down to the basement to sit and talk about what they need. It’s a lot of back-and-forth with the suppliers and the ports. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while, so we know the local shops and where to get a decent lunch. It’s just a small team of us working through the daily tasks. We don’t try to be something we aren't; we just handle the stone business from this basement office and keep things moving as best as we can.
