Kipa Apparels Private Limited

Kipa Apparels operates out of a Janta Flat in Nand Nagari. If you've ever been to North East Delhi, you know it’s a very busy and crowded part of the city. Our place is number 1593. It’s not a factory or a big warehouse, just a regular flat that we’ve converted into our workspace. We spend most of our time here cutting and stitching. There isn't a lot of room to move around once the fabric rolls arrive. We have a couple of sewing machines going for most of the day. The noise is just part of the background here, along with the sounds from the street outside. It’s a very local feel, and most of the people helping us out live just a few blocks away. We don't have any fancy decor or a reception area. It's just a place where work happens. Sometimes the heat gets to us, especially in the afternoons, but we keep the fans running and push through. The stairs are narrow, so moving finished goods out can be a bit of a struggle. We’ve learned to be efficient with the little space we have. It’s an honest way to make a living, and we’ve been doing it this way in Nand Nagari for quite a while now. We don't try to be something we're not; we're just a small clothing outfit doing our thing. It works for us.
