Our office is located over at I-19 in New Moti Nagar, which is right in the Karampura area. It’s a busy place to be, and finding a spot to park the scooter in the morning can be quite a struggle. We work on systems and technical equipment in a space that is mostly taken up by cables and boxes that have been sitting there for months. The building is older, and you can always hear the noise of the industrial workshops nearby throughout the afternoon. We usually get in around ten and start going through the work that came in the previous day. Lunch is normally something we bring from home, but sometimes we go out to the local dhaba if we want something different. This part of Karampura has changed a lot since we first arrived, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. We have some desks that are a bit wobbly and a coffee machine that only works when it feels like it. It is a very practical setup, nothing like the polished offices you see in magazines. Most of us have worked here for years, so we know each other's habits and how everyone likes to handle their tasks. We often stay late if a project is being difficult, but we try to get home before the main road gets too clogged with traffic. It is just how we do things here.
