Kanchan International

Our office for Kanchan International is over in Vasant Kunj, at C-2/2051. It’s a residential-feeling part of New Delhi, which makes for a relatively calm working environment compared to the main markets. We use this space to manage our international trade business. It’s mostly desks, computers, and a lot of filing cabinets. We aren't a big flashy company with a huge sign out front. Most people wouldn't even know we were here unless they were looking for the specific house number. We spend our time talking to people in different time zones and trying to get the shipping dates to line up. It’s a lot of waiting for emails and making sure the documentation is correct for the ports. The rooms are filled with the sound of typing and the occasional printer running. We like being in Vasant Kunj because it’s a bit easier to get around than the center of the city. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate values posted on the walls. It’s just us trying to make sure the orders get delivered and the suppliers get paid. Sometimes the internet acts up, or a delivery gets stuck, and we just deal with it as it comes. It's a small team, and we all do a bit of everything, from answering the door to checking the bank statements. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and it suits our needs just fine.
