We have been operating out of R - 27 for quite some years now. It is tucked away near Nehru Enclave in Kalkaji. If you are walking down the main road, you might miss it because the buildings all look a bit similar around here. Most of our days are spent dealing with leather and skin wear meant for export. It is not the cleanest work in the world. There are scraps of material on the floor and the smell of treated hides is always around. We don't have a fancy front desk or a receptionist to greet people. Usually, someone is just busy in the back checking the stitching or packing boxes into the small van we use. The weather in Delhi gets really hot in the summer, and the office at R-27 can feel a bit cramped when the shipments are ready to go. We just try to get the orders done correctly so they can get to where they need to go. Sometimes the traffic near Nehru Enclave makes it hard for the delivery trucks, but we manage. We are just a small group of people working together. There is a tea stall nearby where we go when we need a break from the noise of the machines. It is a simple life and a simple business. We don't do much talking, mostly just focused on the leather goods we handle every single day. We don't use any fancy advertising either.
