We are up on the 10th floor of the Kanchanjunga Building on Barakhamba Road. It’s a well-known building in Central Delhi, but our office, Flat 1001, is pretty down to earth once you step inside. We are developers, so we spend a lot of time looking at site plans and talking to architects. Being in the heart of New Delhi means we see everything that happens in the city’s development. We’ve been at this for a while now. It’s not always easy dealing with all the regulations and the summer heat, but we stay at it. We aren't the type to wear suits every day unless we absolutely have to for a meeting. Most of the time we’re just regular folks trying to get a project off the ground. The office is full of rolled-up blueprints and half-empty chai cups. We like being in this old building because it has history, which fits what we do as developers. We don't have a big marketing department or a fancy mission statement. We just want to build things that stay standing and serve a purpose for the people who use them. It’s a lot of phone calls, a lot of waiting for permits, and a lot of checking on the actual work. We just keep our heads down and focus on the task in front of us.
