You can find K Ram Kumar over at the Patiala House Courts. Our space is number 42. It’s a very specific kind of place to work, being right in the middle of the legal district. If you’ve ever been to Patiala House, you know it’s always buzzing with activity from morning until late afternoon. There is a lot of walking back and forth between the different offices and the courtrooms. Space 42 is our little corner in all of that. It isn't a large office, but it’s packed with everything we need to do our jobs. We don't spend money on fancy furniture or decorations because we are usually too busy to notice them. The atmosphere is very focused and practical. Most days involve a lot of reading and talking to people who come by with various needs. Being at a place like Patiala House means you meet all sorts of people every day. It’s a bit of a whirlwind sometimes. We have been here for a long time and we know the shortcuts and the best places to grab a quick tea. It’s a community of sorts among the people who have offices here. We just try to be reliable and get through the paperwork as it comes. It is a simple setup at number 42, nothing fancy, just a dedicated workspace for the day-to-day grind.
