K.I. Glassware India at 17A, 41, on the second floor. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but you get used to it. The office is where we handle all the glassware business. Because it’s glass, we have to be pretty careful when we’re moving samples around the room. We have a lot of different types of glasses and jars on display on the shelves. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the boxes. The windows stay open most of the day to let some air in, though it brings in the street noise too. We spend most of our time looking at spreadsheets and talking to the suppliers. It’s a pretty basic office setup with old computers and some stacks of files that need sorting. We don't really have a reception desk or anyone to greet you; you just walk in and find one of us. Usually, we're busy checking the quality of a new batch or figuring out shipping dates. It’s not the most modern place, but it works for us. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The light in the afternoon gets a bit dim, so we have some old lamps we turn on. It’s a simple, honest business. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the glass doesn't break before it reaches the customer. It's just a regular day's work for us.
