We’re based out of D- 40/41/42 in the Okhla Industrial Area Phase- 1. It’s a pretty large setup across those three units. Being in Okhla means it’s always busy, with trucks constantly coming and going and a lot of noise from all the neighboring factories. At Jyoti Apparels, we’re mostly focused on the manufacturing side of clothing. We have a lot of rows of sewing machines and people busy with cutting, stitching, and ironing. It’s a lot to manage, but we’ve got a rhythm down that works for us. The air in the factory always has a bit of that fabric lint in it, so we try to keep it ventilated as best as we can. We don't have a big corporate headquarters; our office is just a small room tucked away in one of the units. We spend most of our time out where the actual work is happening on the floor. Sometimes we have issues with the water supply or the electricity, but that’s just part of being in an industrial zone like this. We don't have any big mission statements or marketing slogans. We just try to get the garments made to the right specs and out the door on time. It’s hard work, and the days can be long during the busy season, but we’ve got a good crew of people who know what they’re doing.
