Renuarora

Renuarora is located in Janak Puri, which is a busy part of New Delhi. We’ve been operating out of here for a while. It’s not a huge setup, just a local place where we handle our fashion work. Usually, there are pieces of fabric and sketches lying around on the desks. It feels more like a workshop than a store. We spend most of our time dealing with tailors or talking to people about what they want to wear. Janak Puri is always crowded, so there is a lot of noise from the street coming in through the windows. We don't have a big marketing team or anything. It's just a few of us making sure everything looks right before it goes out. Sometimes we run out of thread or a machine breaks down, and we have to scramble to fix it. It’s just the daily grind. We like being in this neighborhood because everything we need is close by. The markets are just a short walk away. We keep things pretty simple here. There are no fancy meetings, just honest work on garments. Some days are slow and we just drink chai and talk about new designs. Other days we are working until late at night. It’s a small business and we put in the hours to keep it going. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the noise of the sewing machines, but we try to wrap things up by early evening. It's just the way it goes when you run a business from a place like Janak Puri.
