Leather On Call

We are located on the ground floor at Fd-3 in Shaheen Bagh. It’s easy to find once you get into Jamia Nagar. The space is a bit small but it works for what we do. We have a lot of samples hanging on the walls. People stop by to feel the different grains and weights. Being on the ground floor means we get a lot of foot traffic and dust from the road. We spend a fair amount of time sweeping. The back area is where we keep the finished pieces ready for pickup. We started this because we liked working with our hands. It’s not always easy, especially when the power goes out, but we manage. We have a small desk for the paperwork, though it’s usually covered in leather scraps and measuring tapes. The neighborhood is loud and full of life, which we enjoy. There’s a bakery nearby that smells like fresh bread in the mornings. It mixes with the leather scent in a weird but okay way. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. We just do the work. If you come by, you'll probably see one of us cutting out patterns on the big central table. We use heavy shears that have been sharpened a hundred times. It’s just a regular shop doing regular work. We keep the door propped open with a heavy brick when the weather is good.
