Jain Crockery Store

We are located at Plot No 143 in E Block, Tomar Colony, right on Street No 31 here in Burari. Jain Crockery Store is basically a room full of glass, ceramic, and steel. You have to be careful walking through the aisles because space is a bit tight. We’ve got stacks of plates and rows of glasses reaching almost to the ceiling. It started out much smaller, but over time we just kept adding more stock. People from the colony come to us when they are setting up a new kitchen or if they broke a favorite dish. We spend a lot of time wrapping things in newspaper to make sure they don't chip on the way home. It’s a quiet kind of work, mostly. The street outside can get a bit dusty, so we are always wiping down the shelves to keep the shine on the plates. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know where the specific patterns are hidden. Sometimes a customer wants something we haven't seen in months, and we have to go digging through the back. It’s a simple life, running a shop in the neighborhood. We see the same families year after year. We just keep the inventory stocked and wait for the next person to walk through the door looking for a teapot.
