Software Technology Parks Of India Chennai is up on the 9th floor of the NDCC-II Building on Jai Singh Road. It’s quite a way up, so we spend a lot of time waiting for the elevators every morning. The building itself is one of those big structures that feels a bit like a maze if you don’t know where you’re going. Once you get to our floor, the view of the city is actually pretty decent, especially on days when the sky is clear. We have our desks set up in a way that makes sense for us, though it’s always a bit cluttered with papers and odd bits of hardware. It’s not exactly a designer office, but it works. Jai Singh Road is always packed with cars and people moving fast, so it’s nice to be high up away from all that noise. The air conditioning hums constantly in the background, which is a sound you just get used to after a week of working here. We mostly keep to ourselves and focus on whatever is on our screens. Lunchtime usually involves someone going down to find a quick bite from the street vendors or the small cafes nearby. It's a standard routine, nothing too exciting, just a group of people doing their jobs in a big city building. We’ve got some plants by the window that are struggling a bit, but they add some color to the place while we work through our daily logs.
