Our office for Iteng Engineering is located in a very old part of Alwar. We are in Bazaza Bazar, which is one of those traditional market areas where the lanes are narrow and full of life. Specifically, we are at Kagazi House in Malan Ki Gali. It’s the kind of place where you have to watch your step because of the crowds and the carts. Shalash Agarwal, who is the son of Shri Sitaram Agarwal, works out of this historic spot with the rest of the team. It belongs to the Dr Amin Controllers group, but here on the ground, it feels more like a family-run engineering shop. The walls of Kagazi House have been around for a long time. There is a lot of history in these bricks. We don't have air conditioning in every corner, so it gets quite warm in the summer months. People come in to talk about engineering projects or just to drop off papers. It’s a noisy, busy, and very real environment. You won't find any fancy logos or glass walls here. Just old wooden desks and piles of technical drawings. It’s a bit of a maze to get here, but once you are in the bazar, anyone can point you toward the place. We just do our engineering work and stay part of the local Alwar market scene.
