Institute Of Indian Interior Designers-Delhi Regional Chapter

We’ve been set up over here at W-26 in Greater Kailash Part-II for a while now. It's the Delhi chapter of the Institute of Indian Interior Designers. Most days, the office is just a place where folks in the design community around here get together to talk shop or figure out the next local event. It isn't a massive corporate skyscraper or anything, just a practical space in a busy part of town. People drop in, we handle the paperwork for the members, and try to keep things moving for the designers in the city. Dealing with the Delhi traffic to get here is part of the routine for everyone. We have some desks, plenty of files, and usually someone is on the phone. It gets a bit noisy sometimes because GK-II is always active. We aren't trying to be anything flashy. It's just a spot where the regional work happens. Sometimes the printer jams or we run out of tea, but that's how it goes in a real office. If you are looking for the local hub for the interior design crowd in this part of India, this is where we sit. It’s mostly just us keeping the records straight and making sure the Delhi folks have a place to coordinate. It’s a grounded kind of place, nothing too fancy. Just people working together on the daily stuff that keeps the chapter running. We’ve got stacks of magazines and old floor plans laying around, and there’s always a bit of dust on the shelves.
