We've been at Atma Ram House for a while now, right near Hans Plaza Hotel. It’s busy around Tolstoy Marg but we like being in Connaught Place. People come in to talk about their credit scores or when they have issues with banks. Sometimes it’s just sorting through old paperwork that didn't get filed right by someone else. Our desk is usually covered in folders and we spend a lot of time on the phone with bank officers. It’s a small space in 16-C but it gets the job done for us. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just helping folks figure out their financial standing so they can move on with their lives. The traffic around CP can be a nightmare some days so most people call first before showing up. We try to keep things straightforward. If there’s a mistake on a report, we look into it. Most of us here have lived in Delhi our whole lives, so we know how it is. It's not a glamorous job but it feels good when someone finally gets their loan approved after we help fix their records. We usually grab lunch from the stalls nearby or get tea from the man downstairs. If you’re looking for the office, just look for the sign near the old lift. We’re here most weekdays from morning until late afternoon, depending on how much paperwork is piled up on the desk and how many calls we have to make.
