We are Indiabulls Securities Ltd and we operate out of Vivek Vihar in New Delhi. It’s a busy area and our office fits right in with the local pace. We spend our time dealing with shares, bonds, and various trading accounts. Most of the day is spent staring at charts and talking to people on the phone. It’s not a fancy setup at all. We have some sturdy desks, a few old computers, and plenty of pens scattered around. People from Vivek Vihar come to us when they have questions about the stock market or need to open a trading account. We don't try to sound like experts with big words. We just explain the process and help them get their documents sorted. There’s always a bit of paperwork to do, even though so much is online now. We keep a tally of things in our logbooks. The office can get a little crowded in the afternoons, especially when the market is doing something interesting. We usually have the radio on in the background or just the hum of the air conditioner. It’s a practical place for practical work. We’ve been in this spot for a while and we’ve seen all sorts of market cycles from these windows. We just keep doing our thing, day in and day out, helping the locals manage their securities without any extra fuss or corporate polish.
