India Techno System

We are based at B-167 in Gali No. 5, right near the Chand Masjid in Mandawali Fazalpur. It’s a narrow street and things get pretty crowded around here in New Delhi. India Techno System is basically just a group of us working on technical stuff. We have wires and components scattered across the workbenches most of the time. It looks like a mess to someone from the outside, but we know where everything is. The shop isn't big. We have to move boxes around just to find a place to sit for lunch. Being near the Masjid means we hear the calls for prayer throughout the day, which gives the place a nice rhythm. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while and the neighbors know us. We don't do any big advertising or have a shiny sign outside. Most of our work comes from people in the area or folks who heard about us from a friend. The electricity goes out sometimes, so we have to wait it out or use the backup. It’s not a perfect setup, but it’s ours. We handle repairs and some assembly work. It’s just honest labor in a cramped space. We don’t have fancy uniforms, just comfortable clothes that we don’t mind getting some grease or dust on. We try to be helpful to anyone who walks in, but we are usually pretty busy with our hands.
