We've been at J 20 Palika Niwas in Lodhi Colony for a while now. It's a nice spot in New Delhi, quite central but has its own pace. Most mornings start with the sound of the colony waking up and people heading out for the day. The office isn't anything fancy, just a practical space where we get our work done. Sometimes the stairs are a bit much if you're carrying a lot of stuff, but we manage. We aren't a huge team, so everyone knows each other's coffee or tea orders. New Delhi gets really hot in the summer, so the AC is usually running full blast most of the day. We spend most of our time sitting at the desks, looking at screens and talking through what needs to be done. It’s quiet enough to focus but you still hear the traffic outside and the birds occasionally. Lodhi Colony has a lot of history, and it's nice to walk around during the lunch break when the weather isn't too bad. We don't really do the big corporate meetings thing with slides and all that. Usually, it’s just a quick chat over a desk or in the hallway. Our space at Palika Niwas is filled with old files, computer cables, and half-empty mugs, which isn't very aesthetic but it's home to us. It feels like a real place, not some glass tower. We show up, do the work, and head home. That's pretty much it for our daily life here.
