If you head over to Jain Colony in Uttam Nagar, you’ll find us at Rz-231 T-Ext. We’ve been Ies Designs Private Limited for a bit, working out of this part of New Delhi. It’s a crowded area, so parking is always a bit of a headache, but we like being right here in the mix. We handle design stuff, mostly looking at floor plans and trying to figure out how to make things fit. It’s not always glamorous work, honestly. Most days involve a lot of phone calls to suppliers and trying to track down where the latest delivery went. We’ve got a small team here. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm in Delhi, just trying to do decent work for the people who walk in. The office is a bit cluttered with samples and papers everywhere, but we know where everything is. Mostly. Being in 110059 means we see a lot of local families and small shop owners looking for a bit of help with their spaces. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone. We just talk about what can be done and what can't. It’s practical work. Sometimes the tea guy is late, and that’s the biggest crisis of the day. We just keep at it, one drawing at a time. It gets hot in the afternoons but we have a couple of fans that keep things moving. We’re just regular people trying to do a good job with every design.
