Ibm India Research Lab

The Ibm India Research Lab is located at H. No-259/2 in Munirka Village, New Delhi. The pin code is 110067. Munirka is an interesting place because it is like a little world of its own right in the middle of the city. The lanes are narrow and you really have to know where you are going to find house number 259/2. It is not the kind of place where you would expect to find a research lab, but that is exactly where we are. It is a bit of a maze getting here, with bikes and people everywhere. The building is just a typical village structure that has been converted for our use. We do not have a big sign out front or a fancy entrance. We just go through the gate and get to work. It can get pretty loud outside with the street vendors and the general bustle of Delhi life, but inside we try to keep things focused. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a blessing in the summer. We have got our lab equipment tucked away in the rooms. It is a very down-to-earth environment. We are not trying to look like a futuristic lab from a movie. We are just a group of people working in a village house, trying to solve problems and get through our research projects. It is a bit cramped sometimes, but we make it work.
