Hemashree Fashion is tucked away in Gali No. 6 over in the Tughlakabad Extension. Our address is Rz 42- A. It’s a bit of a maze back here if you don’t know your way around, but we like the quiet of the side street. We’ve been working out of this space for quite some time. It’s not a big showroom or anything like that. It’s more of a workshop where we get things done. There’s usually some clutter, pieces of fabric and threads on the floor, but that’s just how we work. We aren't a big corporation with fancy titles. We’re just a small group of people who enjoy what we do. Some days are really busy and we’re working late into the evening. Other days we can take a bit of a break and chat with the neighbors. Tughlakabad Extension has its own vibe, and we feel like we fit right in. We don't have any scripted sales pitches. We just talk to people normally. If someone comes by, we show them what we have. It’s a straightforward way to run things. We’ve had our ups and downs here, but we’re still going. It’s an honest living and we don’t try to make it sound like more than it is. Just a local business in a local street, trying to keep things moving day by day and hoping for a cool breeze in the summer.
