If you know Mayur Vihar Phase-II, you probably know how crowded Pocket-C can get on a busy afternoon. Our office is at 55 B, right in the thick of things. New Delhi is always noisy, and this part of town is no different. We spend our days here at Hcl Infosystems Ltd dealing with all sorts of technical stuff. The office itself is nothing special to look at. We’ve got desks pushed up against the walls and wires running along the floor, usually covered by some old tape so nobody trips. It’s a practical space. We don’t spend much on decor because that’s not what we’re here for. Mostly, it’s about getting through the stack of work on the desk. The metro isn’t too far, which helps those of us who don’t want to drive in the Delhi traffic every single morning. We usually grab tea from the stall around the corner twice a day. It’s a bit of a ritual for the staff. Sometimes the power cuts happen, and everything goes quiet for a second until the backup kicks in. That’s just part of working here. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just show up, do the jobs that need doing, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday, which is about all you can ask for in this city. We just keep our heads down and stay on top of the paperwork.
