Harsha Nursery & Primary School

We are over at C-20 in Kiran Garden, which is part of the Uttam Nagar area. Since we are a nursery and primary school, our days are filled with the sounds of younger children. The building is a bit smaller than the high schools you see around, but it works well for the little ones. We have various classrooms decorated with charts and drawings made by the students themselves. It’s a very local school, and most of the children live in the nearby lanes of Kiran Garden. Their parents just walk them over in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon. We have a small staff of teachers who are very patient because teaching small kids can be quite tiring. We focus on the basics like learning the alphabet and simple numbers. There is always a bit of a mess with crayons and paper, but that is just part of the process. We don't have any high-tech equipment, just the traditional way of teaching. The neighborhood is quite busy, so the school feels like a safe little corner for the kids to spend their day. Sometimes the office gets overwhelmed with the paperwork for new admissions, but we get through it eventually. It’s a very simple, honest place where we just try to help the children get a start in their education. We’ve been here for years and have seen plenty of kids pass through our doors.
