Habitat Township Private Limited

Habitat Township Private Limited is situated at K-1 in Green Park Main. It is a pretty central location, which makes it easier for us to get around to the different spots where we are working. New Delhi is a big city, and we tend to have bits of work scattered all over. Green Park is a bit more relaxed than other parts of the city, which is nice when you need to focus on a complicated plan. We deal with larger projects, things like townships, which sounds very grand but it is really just a lot of small jobs added together. It is about making sure the roads are right and the drains actually go somewhere. We spend a lot of time looking at maps and trying to figure out how to make a piece of land usable. The staff here is small, just a few of us who have been in the building trade for years. We don't like to overcomplicate things. If a wall needs to be there, we put it there. We don't use fancy software for everything; sometimes a pencil and a piece of paper work just as well. It is a lot of coordination with different people and trying to keep everyone on the same page. It is not always easy, and there are plenty of long afternoons spent waiting for inspectors or deliveries, but that is the life we chose. We just keep moving forward with the work we have in front of us until the project is finished.
