Habitat Buildwell Private Limited is based out of Okhla Industrial Estate, specifically at Karamchand House. If you know Phase III, you know it's a lot of traffic and activity. We’ve been here in South Delhi for a good bit now. Our office isn't one of those glass skyscrapers; it's just a functional space where we handle the building business. We spend a lot of our time looking at plans and talking to contractors. It’s hard work, and sometimes things don’t go exactly as planned, but we manage to get through the projects. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do a decent job on the houses and structures we work on. The team here is mostly locals who know the city inside out. New Delhi is a tough place to build, with all the rules and the heat, but we’re used to it by now. We usually have tea together in the afternoons and talk about what needs to be finished by Friday. It’s a straightforward way of working. No big speeches or fancy promises, just people trying to make a living and build things that stay standing. We like being in Okhla because everything we need is nearby. It’s practical. That’s pretty much us in a nutshell, just a regular group of guys working in construction every day to make ends meet.
