Govt.Aidded Primary School Bhagwan Singh Ka Pura

Our school, Govt.Aidded Primary School Bhagwan Singh Ka Pura, sits right on the Main Road at E-25 in Khajuri Khas. Being on the main road means we see everything that happens in this part of Delhi 110094. The dust from the traffic is a constant thing, but we just sweep the floors and keep going. We are a primary school, so it’s mostly about teaching the basics to the local kids. The building at E-25 is a typical government-aided structure with a few rooms and a small area for the morning assembly. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have been working together for a long time. It’s a noisy neighborhood, but once the kids are inside and the fans are on, it feels more like a school. We don't have any big promises or fancy words to give. We just follow the government schedule and make sure the students are fed their midday meals. Khajuri Khas is a working-class area, and we fit right in. There’s no pretense here. We just open the doors early and stay until the last kid is picked up in the afternoon. Sometimes the rain makes the road messy, but we still show up. It’s just the way it works for us.
