It is a bit unusual for a school to be inside an apartment complex like this, but that’s where we are. We use the rooms in the flat to hold our primary classes. It’s a government school, so it’s very basic and straightforward. The kids come from the surrounding parts of Sector 14. Because it's a residential building, we have to be a bit careful about the noise, though kids will be kids. We have some charts on the walls and the usual desks for the students. There isn’t a big playground, so the children mostly stay inside the designated area. The staff handles all the teaching and the government paperwork from a small corner in one of the rooms. It feels more like a community center than a formal institution because of the setting. Parents like it because it’s right in the middle of where they live. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything fancy. We just follow the standard primary school curriculum. The apartment layout makes it a bit tight when everyone is there at once, but we've managed to make it work for a long time. It’s just a simple place for local children to get their early education without having to travel very far from home.
