Govt Primary School Sivaramapuram

This school is situated in Block A-2 of Rohini Sector 3 in Delhi. It’s a primary school, so we have the younger kids here, from the little ones just starting out to the ones getting ready for middle school. The atmosphere is usually quite lively because children that age don't stay quiet for long. The building is simple and sits right in the middle of the sector. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day, from street vendors to cars passing by. We have a few classrooms with mats and small benches for the students. The walls have some peeling paint, but we try to cover that with drawings and posters the kids make. It’s a government school, so things are done in a very specific, traditional way. We don't have a lot of extra staff, so everyone chips in with chores like keeping the water tank filled or tidying up the small yard. Rohini is a big place, but our little corner feels like a small community. The parents are mostly working people from nearby, and they trust us to look after their kids during the day. We have our routines, like the morning prayer and the lunch break. It’s honest work, and the days go by fast when you’re dealing with primary schoolers. Govt Primary School Sivaramapuram is just a humble place for the local kids to start their education and learn their first letters.
