Govt. Aidd. K.S P/M School

The school is located at Z-67 on 40 Feet Road in Uttam Nagar. It’s a busy area and the road is always crowded with people going to work. Govt. Aidd. K.S P/M School has been here for a long time. The building is older and you can see the wear and tear on the walls. We have both primary and middle sections. Every morning, the noise starts early. Parents come on their cycles or walk their kids to the gate. It's a bit of a squeeze inside the classrooms because we have so many students. The fans hum all day long and sometimes they make a clicking sound. We don't have any of those fancy modern facilities. It’s just wooden benches and blackboards. The teachers sit in a small room and share their lunch from tiffin boxes. You can hear the traffic from 40 Feet Road even when the windows are shut. It's just a regular local school. We spend a lot of time on the registers and the government paperwork. During the break, the kids run around in the corridors because we don't have a big field. It gets quite hot in Delhi, so we are always checking the water coolers. Most of the families living around Z-67 know us. We’ve seen many kids grow up and move on. It’s a lot of work and the days are long, but we just keep at it. That’s how life is here in Uttam Nagar.
