Our office is actually a house in Molarband Extension, Badarpur. House number 3212, Block E2. It’s in Gali number 72, which can be a bit tricky to find if it’s your first time coming through these streets. Goodbuild Engineers is just a small group of us. We aren't some massive firm with hundreds of employees and a corporate HR department. We like it that way because we can actually talk to each other and get answers fast. Being in Badarpur means we’re right on the edge of the city. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of families and small shops. We do engineering work, which involves a lot of calculations and looking at blueprints until our eyes start to hurt. It’s not glamorous at all. Most days involve a lot of chai and arguing over the best way to solve a problem on a project. The office is a bit cluttered with rolls of drawings and old samples of materials. We don't really have a 'front desk' person, so whoever is closest to the door usually answers it. Life here is simple enough. We work hard, we go home, and we come back the next day to do it again. New Delhi is a fast-moving place, but in our little corner of Molarband, we try to just keep a steady and honest pace. It's work we know well and we're proud of it, even if the office is just a house in a narrow street.
