Our workplace is located at E- 128/3 in Mohammadpur, which is quite close to Bhikaji Cama Place. It is a busy neighborhood and getting here in the morning can be a bit of a struggle with all the traffic. The office itself is just a regular setup with some desks, old chairs, and too many computer cables tangling under our feet. We spend most of our time at Gk Technologies Pvt. Ltd. looking at screens and trying to fix technical problems for our customers. It is not a shiny corporate office with a lobby or anything like that. We have a small area where we keep our tea kettle and some spare parts that we probably should have thrown out a long time ago. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but nobody really has the time to worry about that. Most of us live nearby and walk or take an auto to get here. We eat our lunch at our desks while chatting about the news or whatever happened over the weekend. Sometimes it gets a little loud when the fans are running and everyone is talking at once, but we are used to it by now. It is a practical place to work and we just focus on finishing our tasks before the day ends. We’ve been in this building for a while and the landlord is decent enough. It is just a normal day-to-day operation where we do our best with what we have.
