Nehru Place is a chaotic place to be, but that’s where you’ll find us at office 205. Gi Careers Global Education has been operating out of this building for a bit now. If you’ve ever been to Nehru Place, you know it’s the heart of the computer and electronics trade, so there’s a constant stream of people everywhere. Our office is a bit of a sanctuary from that madness. It’s not very big, but we’ve squeezed in enough desks for everyone. We deal with a lot of students and young professionals who are looking for the next step in their education. The hallway outside is always busy, and you can hear the sounds of the market downstairs all day long. We keep a lot of brochures and application forms stacked up on the shelves. Sometimes it feels like we’re drowning in paper, but we eventually get through it all. The tea guy comes around twice a day, which is the highlight for most of us. We don't have fancy leather chairs or a big boardroom. It’s just a practical space where we can sit down with someone and go over their options. The windows don’t open very well, so we rely on the fans to keep the air moving. It’s a busy, functional spot in one of the most crowded parts of Delhi, and we’ve just gotten used to the energy of it. We are usually here until seven or eight at night.
